First,the basic principle of diaphragm valve

There is a diaphram between the valve body and the valve cover.The diaphragm is made of rubber or polytetrafluroethylene.When the diaphragm moves up and down,the flow rate through the valve is adjusted to achieve the purpose of adjustment.When the diapharm covers the weir surface of the valve body,the flow through the valve is cut off and the valve is closed.

Second,the advantages of diaphragm valves

1.simple structure,fewer parts diaphram valve in only composed of three main components of the valve body,diaphram and valve cover assembly.

2.easy to disassemble and maintenance under normal circumstances,the damaged part of the diaphram valve is the diaphragm,replace the diaphragm, do not remove the valve from the pipeline,just remove the valve cover,replace the diaphragm can be completed in s short time on the site.

3.good sealing performance because the diaphragm is made of soft materials such as rubber or plastic,it has better sealing,but the mechanical life of the diaphragm is short.The medium in the valve will not leek from the connection of the valve body and valve cover.The upper and lower reaches of the valve can be completely cut off without internal leakage.

4.there is no dead angle valve body flow channel is streamlind,smooth flow channel,no dead angle,the mediumflowing through the valve can not be deposited in the valve and moldy deterioration,and easy to wash,the flowing medium such as conatining fibers or particles will not be stuck.

5.no packing structure diaphragm valve does not need to use packign, non-corrosive to the valve stem,valve cover(because the diaphragm separates the lower valve body form the upper valve cover cavity).

6.wide use can be used for cutting and throttling.

7.corrosion resistance due to the diversity of the lining,so that it has good chemical resistance.

8.suitable for a varity of working conditions diaphragm valve is especially suitable for dangerous chemicals and radioactive fluids.Because the valve does not produce pollution,it is widely used in product processing,pharmaceutical,food,nuclear industry and other industries that d not allow pollution.
